We called Wayne at Gentlemen Plumbers, as he had previously done a job helping our son with some serious plumbing problems. We were quite impressed at that time. Today we have a multi-part renovation project underway and Wayne did not disappoint. He contributed several great technical ideas which we will be implementing and the work he did was first rate. Two more visits will be required to complete the project. Worth every penny.

I didn't price compare so I don't know if the value was good. Dan, however, was first rate in all respects. He installed a new toilet for me about a year ago, and when I was having trouble with my hot water heater today, I was very happy to see it was Dan that they sent to my house again. He advised me of everything he was doing throughout the process and when decisions had to be made he gave me honest, helpful advice. He did a great job and I can now relax knowing my plumbing issues have been taken care of.

Both Logan and Cory were extremely thorough, professional, and transparent! Logan even took the time to show my 4 year old son and I the camera images coming from our main pipe. I have used Action Auger/GPlumbers since the 2013 flood in Calgary where they were good community citizens. They provide good service, prompt and efficient, for plumbing and heating needs. I find some of their charges a little steep, and the upselling as well, depending on the representatives they send. I have checked a couple of their claims about contacting me about plan expiry and these don't check out. However, if you are cautious and ask questions, verify charges, this is a good company to go with; higher-priced than some individual plumbers (especially their diagnostic and travel fees), but knowledgeable and pleasant. They take their time, as well, with whatever job you've called them for.

Thomas was a great help in getting our heat turned back on. He replaced our thermostat from an Eco Bee to a Honeywell. I've never had to replace a thermostat before this, and was quit shocked of the price. The Eco Bee was changed in my home a year and a half ago, as a government incentive to save power, but it didn't last. My old Honeywell worked fine. So the cost of replacing it was $640.00. I wish I never changed it in the first place. But other than that, Thomas was great, he explained things as he went along, and checked the furnace and plumbing too.Great job!
